SATURDAY SEPT 16

Morning  

MUSIC  Kristin Lindell sings Acoustic Roots music infused with folk and blues.  With echoes of Feist, Eva Cassidy and blues Divas she takes you into her arms and heart with soulful, provocative stories.   Lie in the grass, tap your toes and hear this ethereal voice blending with sweet guitar grooves.  Kristin has played at Festivals and venues across Canada, she gigs regularly at Gate 403 and the Gladstone Hotel.  10am-12pm  

KIDS ACTIVITIES  Silly Goose Kids will be hosting a drop in activity at the childrens tent from 10-1pm

PREFORMING ARTS   Mill House School of Music 12:30-1pm  Fabio Dwyer along with his wife Laura Savage are the founders/operators of Mill House School of Music, and professional musicians with deep ties to Toronto’s music scene. Enjoy a free ukulele lesson from Fabio, an accomplished musician and teacher.

Afternoon       

MUSIC  Jeremy and Jen. Back for their second year at the Danforth East Arts Fair, “Jeremy and Jenn” are an energetic, local duo performing your favourite hits and cherished classics with a mix of guitar, ukulele and great vocal harmonies!  1-3pm

KIDS ACTIVITIES  Toronto Tool Library will be hosting a drop in activity at the childrens tent from 2-5pm

MUSIC  Lisa Olafson from the Dirty Dishes duo   These sharp-witted ladies with a 1950’s Nashville sound and killer charm will bring a shine to every space they fill with their beautiful blend of country-bluegrass-gospel sounds and extraordinary energy.Back for their second year at the Danforth East Arts Fair, “Jeremy and Jenn” are an energetic, local duo performing your favourite hits and cherished classics with a mix of guitar, ukulele and great vocal harmonies! 3-5pm

 

SUNDAY SEPT 17

Morning 

MUSIC  Jasserene, a collaboration between musicians Ben D’Cunha and Brynn Leger, perform classic jazz standards with creative arrangements and beautiful harmonies. 10am-12pm

KIDS ACTIVITIES  Join Deserres for a guided craft at the childrens tent from 10am-1pm

PREFORMING ARTS Upper Beaches Music School 12-12:30pm

Afternoon

PREFORMING ARTS  The wonderful teachers and students at Pegasus Studios will not disappoint with a dance demo to take place from 12:30-1pm

MUSIC  Pete Eastmure and AnimalKyngdom. Singer-songwriter Pete Eastmure has been described as “a genuine vintage Americana voice”. Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and The Drifting Cowboys spring to mind.    1-3pm

KIDS ACTIVITIES  Pegasus Studio takes over the childrens tent from 2-5pm, drop by anytime.
