Below is the 2016 Events Schedule. Expect to see the same great talent with exciting new programming added in 2017.

 

SATURDAY SEPT 17

10-12     

MUSIC Rebecca Hennessy is a Toronto based trumpeter, vocalist and composer active in many different genres of music. Accompanied by her friend Don, you are sure to enjoy your morning coffee in the park with these two.

KIDS ACTIVITIES the Toronto Tool Library will be hosting a drop in activity at the childrens tent from 10am-1pm.

PREFORMING ARTS Welcome back The S.P.A.C.E studio. A wonderful performance to highlight young talent from 12:00-12:30.

MUSIC Neal Evans The Kitgut Stringband plays the mountain music of whiskey revelry and gospel salvation… a thirsty combination fueled by duelling fiddle, banjo and the hammering drive of upright bass and guitar… hollering and heavenly harmonies strike richly!” 

KIDS ACTIVITIES  Oaks n’ Acorns will be hosting a drop in activity at the childrens tent from 2pm-5pm.

MUSIC  Jeremy and Jen Back for their second year at the Danforth East Arts Fair, “Jeremy and Jenn” are an energetic, local duo performing your favourite hits and cherished classics with a mix of guitar, ukulele and great vocal harmonies!

SUNDAY SEPT 18

10-12 

MUSIC Kristin Lindell’s acoustic Roots music is a seamless blend of blues and folk. Sultry, sensual vocals dig into your soul while her shimmering sound sets your heart on fire. With provocative lyrics, sweet bass grooves and tasty guitar licks, she takes you into her arms and her heart with alluring stories to tell.

KIDS ACTIVITIES Join Art Cave for a guided craft at the childrens tent from 10am-1pm

PREFORMING ARTS The wonderful teachers and students at Pegasus Studios will not disappoint with a dance demo to take place from 12:00-12:30

 MUSIC Lisa Olafson from the Dirty Dishes duo Lisa   These sharp-witted ladies with a 1950’s Nashville sound and killer charm will bring a shine to every space they fill with their beautiful blend of country-bluegrass-gospel sounds and extraordinary energy.
