There are a hundred reasons why you should visit, but here are 7.

Julie Glick Painting

An exhibition of works based on neighbourhood canines was so much fun and such a success that I thought I would be happy just painting dogs. Now my commissioned pet paintings have been in demand ever since.

I.M. Wyred

Along with knitted wire jewellery, I. M. Wyred also designs an array of eco conscience necklaces and earrings using tagua seeds, acai seeds, wood and recycled newspaper.

"My work is a constant search for the best way to interpret the ideas that I have. I do not limit myself to one style, yearn or fashion trend. Inspiration and ideas change. Knowledge changes. Each piece that I create is a fusion of my past, where I come from and the future, where I am going to in pursuit of new creative ideas."

Work by artist Julie Walsh.
“I am influenced by my surroundings – by it’s colour, texture and shift. I view my world as the next painting or photo op. Always with a camera close by, the lens allows me to zoom in on the artistic side of the ordinary bringing images to life either through paint or print.”

Julie is the resident artist and custom picture framer at The WorkShop Gallery in Toronto where her works are on display. Her drawings, paintings, photography and commissions can be found in private collections in Toronto, Chicago, Sydney, San Diego, Vancouver, Ottawa, Goa, Mexico and London.

The work of Artist Ivan Schneider.
"It is my function as an artist to make the viewer see my way. My work is a birth of time and thought frozen on canvas. Manipulated from the original on-site sketches, into forms and colours that please. I feel art is not only for the eye; it is the result of an intellectual consideration. A painting is a painting. I do many paintings, leaving them for years and then discovering them and tearing out a form or colour combination which makes me excited. I’m not bound; I paint and enjoy the process."

Works by artist Julie Glick.
"DOG PAINTINGS:
After I adopted my dog Micah in 2005, I decided to paint a series of works based on neighbourhood canines. That exhibition was so much fun and such a success that I thought I would be happy just painting dogs… Well it seems that the universe heard me; my commissioned pet paintings have been in demand ever since.

CLAY:
Much of my work could be considered functional pottery, but my intention is to create sculptures; works that often happen to be inspired by functional forms."
